  • The Squadron patch was designed through a collective effort of all the Squadron members.
  • The final design was approved in May 2001 by the Texas Wing Commander, Colonel Tom Todd.
  • The Airplane is the P51 Mustang that our squadron is named after.
  • "TX051" is our squadron number.
  • "Semper Vigilans" is the CAP Motto - Latin for "Always Vigilant".
  • The Texas Flag represents the state our squadron is located in.
  • Plano Mustangs is our Squadron name.
