"We Are Always Vigilant" - October 22, 1984
The field of blue represents the sky in which we fly.
The seven stars represent the six squadrons and the Group HQ staff that make up Group III, Minnesota.
The gold boarders and letters represent the precious respect we hold for life and its continuance.
The eagle represents our strength, our intelligence, our tenacity, and our pride.
The circle that makes up the main body of the emblem represents the circle of life, continuing on without end. It also represents the special bond that encircles the magnificent people that make up this organization. Finally, it represents the round face of the clock, that we are on call twenty-four hours a day, every day of the year; "We Are Always Vigilant."
