  • The orange setting sun symbolizes worthwhile ambition.
  • The azure blue symbolizes strength, loyalty and aviation.
  • The Colorado flag symbolizes membership in the Colorado Wing.
  • The four stars symbolize the Civil Air Patrol Core Values of Integrity, Volunteer Service, Excellence and Respect.
  • The arrowhead symbolizes aviation.
  • The three contrails symbolize the three fold mission of Civil Air Patrol: Aerospace Education, Emergency Services and Cadet Programs.
  • "Learn - Serve - Lead" is the squadron motto.
